ENUGO K.K. (hereinafter referred to as "we") hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the iOS and macOS application "SnipIt" (hereinafter referred to as "this App") provided by us.

1. Information Collected and Purpose of Use

This App respects user privacy and does not transmit or store personally identifiable information (such as name, address, phone number, email address, etc.) on our servers.

1.1 Input Data (Snippet Information)

Text data (snippets) and clipboard history created and saved by the user within this App are saved only on the user's device (local storage) or the user's own iCloud account (CloudKit). We do not access or collect this data.

1.2 Keyboard and Input Assistance Features

This App uses platform-specific features to input and paste snippets registered by the user into other apps.

The custom keyboard extension included in this App is used solely for the input of snippets.

  • About Full Access Permission: The keyboard of this App does not require "Allow Full Access" in iOS settings (all functions are available even when OFF).
  • Transmission of Input Content: Input content is passed only to the app where it is being input and is never sent to external servers. No logs of input content are collected. All input processing is completed entirely within the device (sandbox environment).

[Mac Version: Accessibility Permissions]

This App uses macOS "Accessibility Permissions" to automate the operation of pasting snippets into other apps.

  • Purpose of Permission Use: This permission is used only to execute the operation (such as simulating keyboard shortcuts) of pasting the snippet selected by the user into the active app.
  • Non-Acquisition of Information: We do not record, monitor, or transmit user keystrokes (input content) to the outside.
1.3 Internet Communication

This App may perform internet communication through standard device functions for the following purposes, but does not transmit personal information.

  • Data Synchronization: Data synchronization between the user's own iCloud accounts (using CloudKit).
  • License Verification: Confirmation of purchase status through the App Store (Apple Inc.) system.
  • Acquisition of External Information: Acquisition of icons and metadata of apps related to snippets.

2. Provision to Third Parties

Since we do not acquire user's personal information, we will not provide it to third parties.

We assume no responsibility for any damages or troubles caused by using the functions provided by this App.
